THE FINAL RESULTS

This year has been an incredible journey, and I cannot thank the participants enough for taking me along on their fantastic flying machine of absurdity, powered by imagination and boundless humour.

The concept of crap games, which has entertained us so much over 29 editions, although understood by everyone, is shaped in each contest by the host's mind. In my case, I see it as the kind of game that would be included in a "bundle tape" and, when you play it, you wouldn't understand how anyone could publish something so absurd and you would wonder what kind of cheap liquor the author was drinking when he created it.

We have been fortunate enough to receive quite a few games of this type this year, which have provided us with plenty of laughs. But one game has stood out as our winner. From its concept to its execution, it is a prime example of absurdity, crowned with a great deal of humour.

Allow me to introduce the winner of the 2025 Crap Game Competition:

Computer Entertainment 1985 Arcade Trivia Review Simulator by Number Eight Software

If you haven't played it yet, don't.

The second part of our universally renowned contest consists of declaring an absolute loser, a game that has practically nothing "crap" about it. And this has not been fun at all. We have received many good, fun and entertaining games. I have had to play the finalist games over and over again and try to bribe the authors to organise the next contest.

Professoreitor, Deep Fishing, Infecto, BOOOM, and Copybara.

Four absolutely brilliant games!

Any one of them could take the crown for "least crap". Unfortunately, some candidates are too humble to accept the glory, fame and wealth that come with hosting next year's event. This dubious honour has landed on our loser:

INFECTO for ZX Spectrum 48K by ZXKerl

Once again, I would like to express my gratitude to everyone who made this competition so memorable. I hope that ZXKerl enjoys it as much as I did next year!
